StashkinChatGPT exporter for Word, PDF and Markdown
Quick answer: Stashkin is a Chrome extension that exports a ChatGPT conversation, only its assistant replies, the messages you select, or a single reply to Word, PDF, Markdown, TXT, PNG or JSON with its formatting intact. Every file is built in your browser from the conversation in your ChatGPT tab and saved to your downloads folder.

How to export a conversation
Install Stashkin from the Chrome Web Store
Click Add to Chrome on the listing. The Free plan needs no account.
Open a conversation on chatgpt.com
Any conversation in a normal Chrome tab, signed in to ChatGPT as usual.
Click the Stashkin icon in the toolbar
The popup shows Quick exports for the conversation in view. To export just one reply, use the Export button Stashkin adds beside that reply instead.
Choose a format
Word, PDF, Markdown, Text, Image or JSON saves a file; Copy Markdown and Copy text put the conversation on the clipboard.
Open the download
The file lands in your downloads folder, named after the conversation title, or the title and date if you set that in Options.

- Headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text
- Bulleted and numbered lists, including nested ones
- Block quotes and horizontal rules
- Tables, as real tables rather than screenshots
- Code blocks, with their language kept
- Formulas: editable equations in Word, typeset in PDF, LaTeX in Markdown
- Images, embedded in Word, PDF, Markdown and PNG
- Links and the sources ChatGPT cited, listed at the end

Free exports 8 Word and 3 PDF files a day and puts a small "Exported with Stashkin" line at the foot of Word and PDF files; Markdown, Text, Image, JSON and copy are unlimited. Pro ($5.88 a month or $46.56 a year) removes the daily limits and lets you turn the footer off.

Does Stashkin work with Claude, Gemini or Copilot?
No. Stashkin reads chatgpt.com only. Supporting one site is what lets it keep tables, formulas and images intact instead of exporting a rough copy of many sites.
Can I export only part of a conversation?
Yes. The popup switches between the whole conversation and assistant replies only. Select messages… in the popup adds a checkbox to every message on the page so you can export just the ones you tick. A single reply has its own Export button beside it.
Is the conversation uploaded to make an export?
Exports are built in your browser from the conversation in your ChatGPT tab, and the file goes straight to your downloads folder. Conversation content is not sent to Stashkin.
Are images included?
Yes. Images ChatGPT generated or you uploaded are embedded in Word, PDF, Markdown and PNG exports. JSON keeps their URLs instead, since it is meant for scripts.
How is the file named?
After the conversation title by default. Options lets you switch to the title and the date, which keeps repeated exports of one conversation apart.
Do I need an account?
Not for the Free plan. Signing in is only needed to buy Pro, and the account is managed at stashkin.com.
